Instagram is analyzing a selector wheel format to show filter selections for’Stories’ on its stage. The Facebook-owned photo-messaging app hasn’t commented about the characteristic yet.

The semi-circular wheel of choices was spotted by reverse engineer Jane Manchun Wong, who also emphasized the evaluation feature decreased the eight camera choices to 3, Social Media Today reported on Tuesday.

“Instagram is working on new ‘Stories’ user-interface, inspired from mechanical circular mode switcher in DSLRs. Tabs reduced to just ‘Live’, ‘Normal’ and ‘Create’,” Wong tweeted.

‘Stories’ choices like ‘Superzoom’,’Rewind’ and ’Stickers’ are re-arranged beneath the ‘Normal’ and ‘Produce’ choices ‘ together with ‘Live’ keeping its own style.

While the ‘Normal’ alternative has recorded manners and Augmented Reality (AR) tools, and ‘Produce’ hosts text along with decal tools.

“The new flow will mean that users may need to scroll around several times during their creation process to add all the effects, but the rounded selector does make it a little easier to do so and looks like a helpful addition,” the report said.

Specifics concerning the public access to this selector wheel for’Stories’ choices remains unclear.

Separately, Instagram on Tuesday declared it would allow US users to store goods straight from the picture sharing an app with the addition of a ‘voucher’ feature on things labeled available. The transfer is in accordance with Facebook’s strategy to monetize higher-growth units such as Instagram, particularly as the organization’s centerpiece merchandise, News Feed, struggles to create interest.

Instagram stated it has partnered with over 20 brands, including Adidas and H&M, on the brand new feature. The photo-sharing app has over 130 million individuals tapping to disclose product tags in purchasing places each month, up from 90 million in September, it said.
